This kit is available in the Center for Girls. You can reserve it by emailing Christine Witcher.
This kit includes
- 1 Video Camera
- 1 shotgun mic for recording room sound (with XLR cable)
- 1 lav mic or desktop mic (with XLR cable)
- 1 tripod
- Film Recording Checklist
- Instructions for downloading footage
Consider using it for
- Recording lessons for self evaluation and reflection
- Recording lectures and demonstrations for students to review at a later date
Strategies for integration
- Record from two different audio sources so that the main speaker or presenter is isolated.
- Always use a tripod to maintain a steady shot.
- If you are filming a demonstration that requires closeups, consider having a camera operator or a second camera.
